About the Presenter:

John Verbestel has over 18 years of information technology experience. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, he found a home in the IT world as a senior programmer analyst. After an implementation project of SAP R/3 release 2.1, he joined SAP America in 1995 as a Tools and Technology Consultant and Technical Trainer. While at SAP America, John authored the first versions of the SAP Authorizations and Concepts course (CA940) and the ABAP Standards and Practices guide. He contributed to the made-easy guides and the development of the ABAP programming courseware series along with teaching over 15 of the SAP standard courses.

Since 1999, John moved to a private practice, and has been actively consulting and teaching in the SAP software space. His client list includes companies in various industries, such as high tech, service, pharmaceuticals, bio-technology, retail and aerospace.

John's training roles have included custom training development and delivery, and standard SAP Training for SAP America including SAP Certification courses. John actively teaches over 16 courses for SAP America, such as the Netweaver Development track (Development series), SAP Business Workflow Track, SAP Security and Audit Track, SAP Solution Manager, Enterprise Portals, and Process Integration (XI).
