AJAX for ASP .NET Hands-On Workshop

Workshop Description: This intensive, Four-day course provides a practical introduction to developing rich Internet applications using ASP.NET AJAX, C#, and Visual Studio 2005. Students will first learn foundational topics, such as JavaScript, DTHML, the Document Object Model (DOM) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Then, the course covers the various components of Microsoft's AJAX support in depth, including ASP.NET AJAX Extensions, the AJAX Client Library, and the AJAX Control Toolkit.



Audience

ASP.NET developers who wish to become productive in ASP.NET AJAX


Prerequisites
  • A good working knowledge of Web application development using ASP.NET 2.0, Visual Studio 2005 and C#
  • A basic knowledge of HTML
  • Exposure to JavaScript and a basic knowledge of ADO.NET would be helpful but are not required

If a participant does not demonstrate these, the instructor will take the necessary steps either to prepare the participant or place him/her in a more appropriate course.
